Information you choose to provide
Depending on the feature you use, KNOWN may process account details, profile information, conversations, documents, wardrobe media, trusted-contact details, check-ins and location supplied during a Safety Session. Sensitive features ask for permission in context.
How information is used
Information is used to provide the feature you request, secure your account, maintain accurate records, prevent abuse, support billing where enabled and improve service reliability. KNOWN does not treat an alert as delivered until a configured delivery provider confirms it.
Service providers
KNOWN uses infrastructure and service providers to host the application, store private data, process authorised AI requests, deliver communications and handle payments when those services are configured. AI media routing remains limited to the four approved providers: Gemini, Groq, Mistral and Together.
Retention and control
Feature-specific retention controls apply to uploaded and generated media, location events and exported files. You may revoke consent, remove individual records, request an export or request account deletion from the authenticated Privacy & Control area.
